My name is Mylinda Weeks. I have lived in Cumming, Georgia for over 22 years.
I provide private in-home training for those who need or want a less public class at a time of their choosing. I also teach group classes at a local pet supply store in Cumming Monday through Wednesday.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Georgia Dog Trainers Forum (GDTF), as well as the Behavior Education Network (BEN). I passed my examination to become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) in the spring of 2010.
I grew up on a working farm in South Georgia and have been training dogs for family and friends for most of my life. When I first started dating my husband, 30+ years ago; I was training my cousin’s Saint Bernard, Poncho.
Before becoming a professional dog trainer I worked in the accounting, information technology and data processing industries.
I want to give my students as many tools as possible to train their dogs in ways that will strengthen their relationship with each other. I take the responsibility of being a professional seriously. I am continually educating myself on new methods, theories, and practices. I belong to several discussion groups and have resources to call upon if needed. If I can’t help you, I will help you find someone who can.
I help people have a deep bond with their dogs, so they feel they truly have “Man’s Best Friend” living and playing along side them. Someone to cuddle with, walk with, play with and, of course, Laugh With!
May I help you improve your relationship with your dog?
